'Cathick's Unfairy Tales' ~ Cover Reveal

CARTHICK'S UNFAIRY TALES BY Carthick Blurb A damsel in distress. An evil dragon. A concerned father seeking a savior to rescue his daughter. A hero galloping off to the rescue – a knight in shining armor. Now THAT is stuff of fairy tales. But what if the father’s real concern is for the dragon’s hoard; What if the damsel’s reason of distress is the marriage proposal by her pompous and vicious savior; and what if the story is told by the horse who bears not only the overweight knight but also his heavy, shining armor all the way to the dragon’s lair and back, facing certain death in the process? 'Doctor Stalker Spy' by Usha Narayanan ~ Review

DOCTOR STALKER SPY by Usha Narayanan BLURB Kamna is a psychiatrist in Chennai. Her colleague Purush is rich, handsome and madly in love with her. When a dashing stranger, Neel, enters her life, she is drawn to him like a magnet. But then , an intruder crashes into her home and threatens her life. Can Kamna find love amid such danger? MY REVIEW Honestly, this book goes on to prove that genre-fixation is hugely overrated.  Having read a couple of mythological books from her, I found it hard to believe that Ms Narayanan would ever write a Y.A. rom-com. Well, she did, and how well at that !?  Doctor, Stalker, Spy is one of the best and seemingly real romances I've read in a long while. The author has studied her subjects to a deep extent, which is evident in all her character portrayals. The dilemmas and challenges a 20-something faces, all seem so real and relatable.  This one is undoubtedly,  yet another master stroke by Ms. Narayanan!!   A

Read how Ganesha took myriad forms to please Riddhi, Siddhi and Buddhi, how Ravana shared an unbreakable bond with his true love, Mandodari and how Nala and Damayanti’s relationship was tested till almost nothing remained. Tormented by passion, wracked by betrayal, torn by the agony of separation, love in its many splendored forms is the origin of these incredibly endearing stories of Prem Purana . It would be great if you can add this book to your TBR Usha Narayanan had a successful career in advertising, media and corporate communications before becoming a full-time author. She has written several books, including 'The M
